Welcome to Foreign Birds In Aviculture (FBIA).
Our aims with FBIA is to become a source of vital help and advice on various aspects of breeding, showing, hand rearing general good husbandry methods and for the promotion of the hobby, for all foreign bird species kept in aviculture.
We are not looking to cover the pet side of the hobby, but rather to be a specialised website for promoting the hobby of primarily, the breeding of birds in aviculture.
In addition, we also wont cover British birds and canaries, such species are reserved for our sister website British Birds In Aviculture (BBIA)
http://www.bbia.co.uk
We are looking to be a friendly, helpful community with no hidden agendas, only to help each other with proven helpful advice on the hobby.
The site is still in its infancy and will take a little time to become established, so please register FREE and help us grow by sharing your knowledge and experiences on the hobby with fellow bird keepers.
I hope you enjoy FBIA and if you have any suggestions at all for the site, please feel free to let us know in the suggestions box.
All we ask in return is you help others with advice if you can and in a respectful manner.
Have a great breeding and show season folks.
Karl
